My spouse and I had our first appointment with Dr. LaRocque last week. We each had a positive experience with the doctor and her staff. She spent time with me to review my medical history and offered advice for future skincare. Her bedside manner was very good too.
I would also not recommend. I've relocated to the area and needed a new derm for hair regrowth advisory and prescription medication. She would not renew my finasteride prescription because she said it should be coming from my PCP. That was frustrating since her job should be to observe, analyze, and prescribe medications based on derm related issues. Hair loss/growth falls in the derm category. Would not recommend, she was not personal at all. My questions seemed to be tolerated as opposed to being welcome. Definitely would not recommend.
It was a great office visit. Dr. Larocque was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained what was going with my cyst in detail, my options for removing it, or leaving it alone. The entire staff was very nice.
