I had a problem with one of the doctor's nurse practitioners.I called the doctor's office and left a message that I had this problem.He did not have the courtesy to call me back.Had his office manager call me. He Would Not.
My spouse and I had our first appointment with Dr. LaRocque last week. We each had a positive experience with the doctor and her staff. She spent time with me to review my medical history and offered advice for future skincare. Her bedside manner was very good too.
I would also not recommend. I've relocated to the area and needed a new derm for hair regrowth advisory and prescription medication. She would not renew my finasteride prescription because she said it should be coming from my PCP. That was frustrating since her job should be to observe, analyze, and prescribe medications based on derm related issues. Hair loss/growth falls in the derm category. Overall experience with the Doctor was very impersonal, detached and definitely felt rushed, even during a small surgical procedure.
Would not recommend, she was not personal at all. My questions seemed to be tolerated as opposed to being welcome. Definitely would not recommend.
Excellent care & has helped me with a prurigo nodularis condition which causes itching & pain. Medication & ointment has helped to keep me from itching so I can sleep better. After 2 visits with recommended injections also relieved pain. I also had an issue with a burn which was undetermined as to how it was burned. He gave me an ointment to use on it to help it heal. He & his staff are compassionate, professional, personable & friendly. No wait time & reminder text is a plus.
Needs to improve on friendliness & communications a little. Acted like he was in a rush to finish the exam and move onto what ever was next.
It was a great office visit. Dr. Larocque was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained what was going with my cyst in detail, my options for removing it, or leaving it alone. The entire staff was very nice.
Dr. Seward has always been a pleasure going too. He provides everything I need.
