I had quite a serious injury (axe wound through the muscle to the bone), that required emergency surgery and was very lucky to have Dr Shatrov as the surgeon. Having never had stitches/surgery/general anaesthetic, I was a bit apprehensive. The whole procedure was explained very clearly prior to surgery and I was able to ask any questions to Dr Shatrov and the anaesthetist which completely put my mind at ease. If only I could give 10 stars. Dr Jobe and Mel are wonderful people and talented medical professionals. I tore my meniscus at the root, hospital referral to Dr Jobe, next day (Friday) imaging, they reviewed my images over the weekend. First thing Monday morning Mel calls me 'wanting to prep me for surgery on Thursday' stating 'the quicker they get to it, the better the result'. With my first time appointment , i felt so grateful to have found a great Doctor Dr jobe and his team have done a great job an my knee , his manner and kindness is the best , and i like to add the staff and nurses in Hornsby hospital are great and all like Dr Jobe Thankyou Michael basha

Dr. Shatrov is hands down my favourite surgeon (and I've had a few surgeries!). Kind, warm, and incredibly skilled, he put my knee back together and turned a painful break into a smooth recovery. He really looked after me throughout my hospital stay and post care. I couldn't be more grateful and I'm so glad he came to emergency that night, I knew then I was in good hands. The best!
