Dr. Joanne Sargeant has been excellent for our family. She provided thoughtful insights and much-needed reassurance about what our child is going through. The atmosphere she creates is relaxed and comfortable, making it easy to open up and feel supported.
Dr Jo stepped up to help our son when it felt like there was no-one else to turn to. Dr Jo certainly tells it like it is - providing realistic strategies and medication options. She has had a positive impact on our family.
I went at 18 years old, Joanne constantly spoke over me, interrupted me when I was trying to talk about why I was there to ask me irrelevant questions. She then sent confidential information that I had shared with her directly to my mother. Wouldn't recommend
If I could give zero stars I would. Instead of helping or listening she'd rather talk over me about the struggles I have with my son. I sat there most of the appointment while she typed on her laptop. My son is ASD. Based on the one comment about how he has sensory issues regarding clothing especially his school uniform and shoes/socks. She's diagnosed him with OCD. Please I’m begging you do not take your children to her. She thinks she knows what she’s doing but I can guarantee that she’s doing more harm than good. I was a patient a few years ago and she used my fear of my parents knowing my struggles to keep me going back to her. I don’t want to give all the details but she manipulated me and made my life a living hell.
