The staff is a revolving door. Once you get used to certain faces, they are gone. Dr. Simpson is just as fake as her appearance. She is more concerned with cosmetics that are not covered by insurance than she is with real skin issues. If it takes more than a few visits to clear a condition she becomes uninterested and it shows in how she treats you. I would not recommend anyone going to see her unless you want Botox or something.
Dr. Joanne Simpson was very indifferent. I am religious about getting my annual skin screenings. I used to work at the top ranked cancer center in the world and had gotten my screenings done at the Derm Clinic there. Ms. Simpson (she doesn't deserve the designation or respect of using the title) wouldn't even touch me. I have NEVER had a skin screen where the dermatologist didn't check me from head to toe. I had to request a scalp check, I never stood up so she never looked at my back side or the backs of my legs, I did all ... read more
Dr. Simpson should not be practicing medicine. She is incompetent and uncaring. If you have a real medical issue like skin cancer or a lesion that might be cancer, she is downright dangerous.
Dr. Simpson dismissed my concerns and essentially told me there was nothing that could be done about my skin problem. On more than one occasion, I felt that she did not listen to or address my concerns. She spent less than 5 minutes with me in the exam room and never made one close physical inspection of my face. How can you call yourself a clinician when you don't even conduct a physical assessment of the problem area (it's called an exam room for a reason). Needless to say, I will not be seeing her again.
Dr. Simpson was very professional, seemed extremely knowledgeable about my condition, and instilled great confidence. The staff was wonderful in every way. My treatment has just begun, but she is the first doctor to offer immediate relief of my aggravated symptoms. I would definitely recommend this state of the art practice to anyone and everyone.
I took my son to see Dr. Simpson for his skin issues. She has a very pleasant, relaxed disposition. She examined my son, provided a diagnosis and prescribed a treatment. His skin appears to be getting better. We have a follow-up appointment in three months.
I have never written a review of a doctor before, but my experience with this doctor was absolutely terrible, and I wanted to make sure others are aware of this. I went to Dr. Simpson several times for a very standard skin problem. I waited very long for the first appointment. After several appointments, the doctor seemed to blow me off. During the appointments, the doctor was expressionless, quiet, and almost seemed unsure of herself. The condition has actually worstened since her treatment. I have found a different doctor ... read more
