As a psychiatrist, I see my role as helping people overcome the obstacles in their lives that keep them from being happy or living life to the fullest. I'm a psychophamacologist and an insight oriented psychotherapist. As such I am able to diagnose and treat both the conditions that require medication and those that respond to psychotherapy. Because I'm a physician, treatment of those with other medical illnesses is part of my expertise. I also work with healthy executives on career issues.

Dr Parks declined looking back at my history, or working with my other providers until it was too late. She made three critical preventable errors by not doing so.
Dr. Parks is the absolute best. She knows more than any psychiatrist I have ever met with in my life. Where she really shines is her ability to think outside of the box and integrate medical issues with psychiatric care. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and she actually listens. I never feel like just a number; I feel like a human being when I am talking to her, and I feel understood. Her staff is also very kind and accommodating.

Waited 6weeks for appointment and found out 10minutes before our appt that she had canceled it without even calling us. Office staff was very rude when we called to find out why we were canceled. We are talking about patients mental health here. Very unprofessional. I would not see this doctor if you care about your family!
Suggestive and leading. More interested in money for services. Unfortunately encourages hospitalisation
Dr Parks is extremely warm, attentive and results driven. She listens non-judgmentally and offers a great deal of insight. She clearly cares deeply for her patients and it shows. Dr. Parks thoughtfully prescribes meds, always looking at the pros and cons of particular medication. Also, she is knowledgeable about different treatment modalities. Had only one visit so far and I was so impressed with her first interview. She took copious notes on her Lap Top of practically everything I said that related to and the different drugs I have taken over the past 14 years. You has a great knowledge of medication and their active ingredients.
Dr. Parks is the absolute best!!! I had gone through so many different doctors until I finally found her!!! She is caring and compassionate with her patients and goes above and beyond just being your doctor. She really cares deeply for her patients and their well being and will be there when you need help.
Dr. Parks literally save my life. After being diagnosed by the foremost expert in the field as having MPD/DID stemming from childhood abuse, Dr. Parks took over my care. Gone were delving into childhood abuse that did not exist. Rather we focused on the here and now events in my life. I reconnected with my family and became once again a functional adult.
