Dr. Minkowitz is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her skills are impeccable and I highly recommend her. She works to accommodate every patient in every way they need. Her staff is hardworking and extremely helpful. Her level of knowledge is unbelievable and her patient care is fabulous.
I been to Dr. Gopin for first time. She was really thorough, and took time to analyze my ultrasound results that I brought to her. She was really interested in my health, and tried to help me improve and maintain my health. Punctuality could use improvement (I waited about 20-25 mins in one of the examination rooms to be seen by her. However, based on the care and time she is gving to patients, this wait is well worth it.
Minkowitz has not returned my repeated phone calls. My ex wife listens to her explicitly. My 5 year old has been in a cast for 4 months and now a boot for 1.5 months after a simple fracture she said would take 6 weeks. I'm suspecting insurance fraud.
I have a history of multiple seizure types (grand mal with fever and complex partial) from age 9 months to age 12. Seizure free and off meds from age 12 to age 22. aborted complex partials at age 22 and put on trileptal for control and for mood stabilizer (mental health issues too). Seizure free until 2012 when complex partials returned. Found Dr Politsky in apr. 2013 and have been under his care since. He is a most thorough, caring neurologist. Our son was treated for severe Tib/Fib Compound fracture/soccer injury. This likely could have been a sport ending injury had we seen a diff doc. We could not have been more pleased with the results. Thorough in treatment, explanation, follow up, concern. She spoke to our son as a young adult and treated him with respect, and compassion. Entire staff was helpful, courteous and professional. Our son has, unfortunately, required the surgical expertise of Dr. Minkowitz on more than one occasion. Not only did Dr. Minkowitz do a great job with the actual surgeries, she did a great job explaining the procedures and making this scared Mom feel as at ease as possible under the circumstances. She was thorough with follow up and testing and her staff was pleasant and helpful.
We were extremely fortunate to have Dr. Minkowitz treat our 6 yr old son's fractured elbow. She was caring, comforting, and professional in explaining the extent of his injury and the necessary surgical procedure. She was able to set his elbow in place anatomically perfect, which was a great relief to hear. Dr. Shen is a very caring and compassionate doctor. She is willing to take the time to sit and listen. Many doctors are so rushed you feel you are inconveniencing them. Not so with Dr. Shen - she truly cares. Her caring touch is sometimes all that is needed to lower the BP! Great doctor who is knowledgeable and worth the wait.
Really outstanding and helped my child were others could not.
