Appointments are overbooked. I have waited in the waiting room over an hour several times, and not even seen Dr.Shen.
Dr. Rhuna Shen is a horrible doctor. She never sees her patients and when she does there is no eye contact. She does not return any phone calls that are made to her when a patient calls with a concern or complaint. All calls are forwarded to her N.P.
I went to this Dr. because I have a history of epilepsy. I have been having headaches so I went to see him and didn't get very far. If you have any other issues besides epilepsy, don't waste you time like I did. Find a neuro. who has multiple areas of expertise.
I loved Dr. Minkowitz she was very caring for my son and the nurses as well.. my son had a previous injury and surgery and she knew the dr very well.. before the surgery she was to do she reached out to the other dr. She spoke to him while I was there and then let me speak to him and he assured me that my son was in good hands with her. And he was absolutely right. My son was 14 at the time and to this day he ask to go visit her to say thanks..
She saw in the hospital, no compassion of the chest pain I was having, I guess she though I was lying??? I have a passing out problem, with out explanation or symptoms, she asked stupid questions with this smile on her face like she did not believe or I was hypochondriac. Did not like her at all
The Dr. is very good listener & is very skilled on epilepsy. The staff however are very rude, and very uncoperative in taking messages, informing the Dr. of any problems with a patient. Very difficult to make an appointment or even receive a call back after leaving a message which they then claim they have no messages.
He took care of me at Overlook Hospital after I had septic shock and seizures in 2016, and I was assigned to him after my previous epileptologist left for a teaching position. I wish he had been my neurologist all along. He is a good listener, very reasonable, and helpful.
Dr Gopin takes the time (in a very busy and demanding practice) to focus on the individual and their specific symptoms. I always leave feeling she has taken a personal interest in finding the root causes and best treatment for whatever issue(s) I am dealing with. I always come away feeling she cares about people and is knowledgeable and open to considering other professional opinions where feasible to explore the root causes of any medical problem at hand. I trust she has my best interests and care at heart.
Dr. Gallick is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. He operated on both of my shoulders and I'm back to work in construction and doing well. I have recommended him to family and friends.
