Broken humerus. Completely unsatisfactory experience with this practice. Suffered a post surgery complication within hours of being discharged and had to go to Emergency Room for severe bleeding and a hematoma the size of a navel orange. Almost lost my life and recovery was extremely difficult. All follow up appointments were deferred to his nurse practitioner and I never saw Mr Jiang again. I assume the doctor is good (wanted to see him because he was highly recommended) but couldn't get past the incompetent front office staff. I made an appointment for my husband after checking that Dr. Jiang was in our insurance's network. My husband pre-checks in and provides insurance information. He arrives and provides our insurance card (2x actually). And then gets told the doctor isn't in our network and goes home. We call insurance who confirmed that doctor IS in network. I recently had hand surgery done by Dr Jiang. This was by far one of the best experience I've had with a surgeon. I was referred by my General Surgeon Dr Wolf in the same building. Both surgeons are top notch in my opinion. Dr Jiang made sure I understand why my hand was having issues, he explained the surgery in detail. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. His team went above and beyond making me comfortable and caring for me.
He is an excellent Dr.
Scheduling staff needs further training, needed a follow-up visit 1 week after seeing Dr Jaing to take another X-Ray for fractured finger and have sutures removed. Next available appointment May 14th - 5 weeks away, thats when I was told to stop wearing the splint, the finger will be healed by then. Scheduling staff needs to find solutions, critical thinking is a lost skill.
