I was referred directly to Seattle Hand Surgery group by my primary care provider based on the severity of my symptoms without the usual EMG testing. Dr Daruwalla encouraged that we get the testing done anyway. In the moment it seems like extra steps to prove what I already knew but in reflection I believe it shows the Dr is committed to a proper diagnosis and not pushing unneeded surgical procedures.
