I agree with most of the posts about getting the answering service and not a person directly associated with the office; it is extremely frustrating. Second, if you do not provide a social security number, the office will not provide services at all. You cannot even make an appointment. It does not matter that it is a minor. I wish I had know this before wasting 2 hours filling out the forms and another week to make the appointment. I have never needed to provide a SS# for any of my minor child's needs. I love this doctor and the staff...i have been going there for about 5 yrs..they have always been friendly and care about the health of my son..the doctor listens to your concerns, and the staff in the front are great too..i highly recommend..
The staff at this office are related to Dr. Bracken, condescending, passive-aggressive and take delight in charging patients fees. The final straw was when I returned an automated call to change the appointment and the secretary stated that they would charge $75 for a missed appointment because I made the change at 23 hours and 15 minutes, not 24 hours. They are always polite and usually right on time with appointment time they schedule. Anyways listens to my questions and answers my concerns. I will continue to use Jill for all of my children's psychiatric needs.
The doctor prescribed medications at levels set for an adult, not a child. The office staff never picked up the phone when we called, always voicemail and that was answered and returned two business days later. The office staff is family, which in this case means they can be as unprofessional as they want and will not be impacted. I feel as though they rarely answer the phones or return phone calls to patients in a timely manner. When I first started seeing the doctor there were no problems getting in touch with the staff or getting business taken care of. After they began using their answering services you can hardly ever get a live person any more. I have had a problem getting documents and paperwork taken care in the time promised. All you get are answering machines saying to leave a message. Called to cancel my son's last appointment left a message and heard nothing until now. I am getting calls from the worst collection company I have ever heard from. They will not talk about the issue just state that money is owed and hang up. They are just as bad as the Dr. office with not wanting to communicate with you. Find somewhere else.
