I HAD MY PROSTATE TAKEN OUT AFTER BEING REFERRED TO BY MY DOCTOR. I HAD A RADIATION SEED IMPLANT ABOUT 3YEARS AGO WHICH IS WHAT I CHOSE. I STILL HAD CANCER. DR.KAOUK DID ROBOTIC SURGERY AND TOOK OUT MY PROSTATE. I HAD MINIMAL DISCOMFORT AND PAIN AND WAS A SUCCESS. HE AND HIS TEAM(BRANDON MOONEY AS ONE) ARE CARING AND PROFESSIONAL. Dr Kaouk operated on myself last month, Ocotber 26th. He removed about 20% of my right kidney. I had a 2.5cm tumor in a very bad spot. he opened up my kidney like a book & removed the tumor. My body does not feel like any of my kidney is gone. i feel great. I'm very thankful for the skills of Dr Kaouk. He is a wonderful & amazing Dr.
Dr. Kaouk is a brilliant robotic surgeon. I underwent a robotic prostatectomy in January 2009 with an excellent outcome. He saved my life. I will be forever grateful. I found him to be kind and caring as well as one of the best surgeons in the world.

Dr. Kaouk is absolutely superb. The negative reviews are unfounded compared to the remarkable medicine he practices. In 1992 I had kidney cancer and a kidney removed in NJ. In 2006 I was diagnosed with cancer in the remaining kidney. It was difficult to access. Dr. Kaouk and his team removed the mass laparoscopically and I have remained healthy since. The Cleveland Clinic where he practices is a superb hospital. You can have total faith in this doctor and his team. I thank God for his skills.
Doctor Kaouk saved my life. Furthermore Dr. Kaouk saved both of my kidneys. The first doctor I visited wanted to remove one kidney and half of the other. The first doctor told me I would need kidney dialysis for the rest of my life and that I would probably only live another 7 years. In Feb. of 2007, Dr. Kaouk told me that he had performed 2000 prostatectomies. In fact he had performed less than 400 robotic prostatectomies. He claimed a 98% preservation of continence and to maintain potency. While performing my prostatectomy he perforated my colon and did not take me back to surgery until 48 hours later. I was in septic shock, kidney failure, heart failure and was not expected to survive the night. I was hospitalized for 70 days in 2007 and underwent five more surgeries. He never came to see my husband after the robotic prostate surgery . My husband had severe bleeding for several days and a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Also, his assistant Brandon is a jerk who seemed like he was playing a doctor on TV.
