I am extremely grateful to Dr. Jerry I. Huang and excellent staff at UWMC-Roosevelt where they performed a left intra-articular distal radius surgery on my left wrist after I had fractured it in a fall while hiking. Before the surgery, Dr. Huang talked with me and explained everything about the surgery, which made me feel confident that the surgery would be a success. Because of his and his staff’s compassion, dedication and commitment to help others with painful orthopedic issues like mine, the surgery was a success, and I ... read more

I had three surgeries with Dr. Huang and because of his refusal to listen to his patient and read chart notes I now have a horrible deformity I will live with the rest of my life. The worst part is he couldn't even say sorry after all the pain he put me through, instead he fought to let me go see another doctor. The other doctor who saw me actually read my charts and understood what "Allergic to sutures" meant and I healed up fine after they used a different suture.

I'm and RN; my spouse is an MD. We know what a top flight doc is. Jerry is. He was my surgeon for a nasty wrist and forearm injury. Along with being top flight, he is warm, caring and funny. Re surgery, he's a minimalist: his goal is to do the least invasive procedures to obtain maximum benefit. While my wrist and forearm will never return to normal, Jerry did everything possible to maximize function. He continues to follow me to do tweaks as needed to continue to maximize function. I'm an

I had surgery about a month ago. Dr Huang was very caring and responsive. He listened to my complaints and addressed them. I wanted my fingers and elbow free from the cast on my arm and he did that. Plus he started me on physical therapy right away. His staff was exceptionally kind and caring. I am very pleased with the outcome. Dr Huang did an excellent job. I highly recommend him.

Horrible at communicating what to expect after surgery. Cold, uncaring and that includes most of his staff. Would NOT recommend him to my worst enemy
