Great doc! From word of mouth i heard this doctor was good. i went to him for a mole concern. it was on my neck so i wanted as little scar as possible. the office was easy to find; the place is very welcoming. they took me in early and were very nice and professional. unlike EVERY doctors office, Dr Waldman came through the door right on time. told him what my concern was (history of pre-melanoma) he explained what his plan was. i went back a few days later to have it removed. all went smooth, didn't feel anything but the qu... read more
The Doctor was rude. Made remarks about my choices. Was not willing to contact me after I expressed my concerns to the office manager.
I went to Dr. Waldman for routine removal of a scalp cyst and got billed for over $600, after what insurance covered. His explanation of this is that he took an extra step that would improve healing. This may be so; there was less post-op bleeding than in some similar procedures I've undergone in the past. However, I'm not so wealthy that this was worth hundreds of dollars to me. Dr. Waldman is a fantastic, knowledgable, thorough doctor. His bedside manner is excellent, and he spends a good amount of time with his patients to make sure they are educated about their procedures. Three members of my family have gone to see him and have all been happy with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Waldman and his staff to anyone requiring a plastic surgeon.
Next time I need a precancerous mole removed Ill do it Myself before I visit this hack! Sure if your getting your bewbs done hes real compassionate, but if your muscles lock after he takes a chunk from your back and ask for 1 dose of meds just to sleep through the worst night you are an addict! No thanks, people with preexisting conditions such as nervous disorders or muscle problems should avoid this practice like the plague... I went to see Dr. Waldman to have a mole removed. He was very stand offish and rude during my visit. The hack job that he did to remove the mole (which was rather tiny to begin with) left a huge scar. For a plastic surgeon, he did not do a very good job stitching the wound. I will not be returning to this office, and actually will plan to have my primary care doctor take the stitches out.
Making the appointment and being greeted on that day were the most pleasant parts. Once I entered the examination room, the nurse was extremely distracted and unfocused while asking me the routine questions and those pertaining to my medical history. She didn't wait for me to finish answering a question, was a poor listener, than moved onto the next question. Dr. Waldman came in and we started discussing the reason for my visit. Dr. Waldman is exceptional at what he does. I had breast augmentation about 3 months ago and he was extremely knowledgeable and respectful during all my visits. I had read reviews before my consultation with him and people had said that his bedside manner was not good/rude. I would strongly disagree with those comments and correct them by saying that Dr. Waldman is very matter of fact.
