As an ER physician and athlete, I was anxious to find a conservative surgeon to handle a three-level cervical disc issue with a single-level disc rupture. By the time I saw Dr. Wang, it was urgent--I had deteriorated from competitive athlete one week to barely able to walk the next. I awoke from surgery pain-free and already stronger. Dr. Wang was confident, decisive, and an all-around phenomenal surgeon.
Dr. Wang and Dr. Mata are excellent. Both are by education, training, and practice highly competent surgeons. And to top it off they are very personable. They explain anything and everything you ask in everyday terms or as technical as you want, they never have one foot out the door while you ask follow up questions, and they have very keen senses of humor. My best doctor visits and surgery ever! The staff have no bad "attitudes". They're friendly and efficient. Plus they answer the phone.
Dr. Wang has a genuinely warm and caring attitude. It was the most time I had ever spent with a Dr. I never felt rushed. Dr. wang listened to my questions and concerns and developed a plan to have me reach my goals. This Dr. REALLY does care about his patients. He is like a breathe of fresh air in the medical profession.

Had neck surgery in the past by Dr Wang very successful. Went back to see his PA after MRI revealed very bad news in mid January. Ordered more testing, took 3 weeks to get back in to see PA 02/05. Said I needed surgery. Today is 02/22 have yet to see WANG. Wait in lobby for 1.5 hrs. In severe pain and asked to speak with WANG 3 times instead PA calls without zero compassion and says she can't do anything. Again asked to have WANG call me. Nope nothing. No surgery or WANG NEARLY 2 months.
Dr. Wang and staff have been very professional and yet personable. There was always time to answer any and all questions. The procedure was very successful, and the recovery, so far, has been flawless. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang to anyone having back or neck issues. My thanks to all for a job WELL DONE! Went in for leg and hip pain he send me to do different test done and end result had to have back surgery he perform the surgery on meand I was very happy with the out come of my surgery no more pain in my leg. Dr wang told me every thing that would be done to me every step of the way very happy with him and would recommend any body to go to him for their pain Jerry bushnell
