Dr. McNabb is simply the best. I had such a great experience with her. This was my first pregnancy. She was very informative and up front with anything and everything I could have needed or asked. She was very personable and so kind. This was true down to the wire. We had a slight scare during the delivery process. She acted so quickly and calmly. She is the reason my baby is here today, and for that I am forever greatful for her. I am SO sad to hear she is leaving. Texas is lucky to have her!
I loved Dr. McNabb, She was my doctor throughout my first pregnancy and delivered my daughter in 2016. She addressed all concerns, is very educated, friendly, and informative. Now that I am pregnant again, I am so upset that I cannot see Dr. McNabb because she is moving. I am having a hard time finding an OB/GYN that is just as good as her because she set the bar high.
We had a beautiful experience, bringing our child into the world, with Dr. McNabb. I'm very appreciative of her knowledge and patience, and now our family has grown! Thanks doc!
She stepped in when my dr left after I gave birth and was still in the hospital. One day the nurse didn’t give me my pain meds until they had all worn off for 3+ HRs And my pain took forever to go away again(mind you I had a ton of adhesions removed during my csection and my spinal failed) I told her my pain was really bad and she accused me of being a pill popper and that’s why the Meds didn’t work that ONE time. I cried because of the situation she told me that my crying was illogical.
Business response:
I am sorry that this was your experience. Most pain medications cannot be given sooner than every 4-6 hours, thus the delay. While prior pain medication use is a consideration when treating pain, medication abuse is not something I assume of patients, although I may ask you about your use prior to hospitalization. Last, I may have attempted to calm you when you were crying, because adjusting pain medication dosing is relatively easy once I am made aware of inadequate pain control.
Dr. Mcnabb's staff is completely incompetent. My last visit I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room because they forgot that I was there for an appointment. I tried to make an appointment for a tubal ligation and she was out of town for several weeks so my appointments were pushed back twice. Requested a prescription and never received a phone call. Dr. Mcnabb is unreliable as a physician. As a patient of hers for almost 3 years, I highly suggest looking elsewhere for better care
Business response:
I apologize for the delayed response. Unfortunately, it appears there was a miscommunication between the front desk and myself. When I am made aware of patients with this type of experience, I will often fit them into the schedule, even if it is "booked." Furthermore, if I am away for an extended period of time, the clinic has other very capable physicians who can provide medical care. Hopefully, you were able to establish care with one of them.
I have used Jennifer for 2 of my pregnancys. Sadly one ended in a miscarriage. She had great bedside manor and even preformed the d&c herself. I have an enormous amount of trust in her, which is hard to find in doctors these days. She was always on top of things. I always felt like first priority. I wanted to do a vbac, and she was so supportive of that decision. Sadly my body wouldn't let me, so she was quick to schedule my c-section for me. I would highly recommend her!
I would recommend Dr. McNabb for all your check-ups. She made me feel at ease, informed, and respected while getting my annual. It's nice having a female OBGYN!! A+ doc!!!
Dr. Mcnabb has always been great! But, the implanon implant has not worked for me at all. I was on my period for 3 solid months after having it placed, I went to see her again and she said it would level out, again, very nice and helpful. I'm still bleeding constantly. I made an appointment to remove it, they couldn't get me in for over a month. When I arrived they said my appointment was at 9am, I was told it was at 9:15. Now I have to wait over a month again. A confirmation call would help.
Dr McNabb and staff have been the best doctor's office that I have been to in years. I would refer Dr. McNabb to every woman I speak to!!!
