Had shoulder surgery 8 years ago. She said it was a routine surgery and most people are healed in 6-8 weeks. After 3-4 months, I was still in a lot of pain, to which her response was “there is nothing else I can do for you, maybe you should go to another orthopedic”. I hear she is better at knees, but stay away for shoulders!

Dr Cook is an exceptional doctor. A leader in her field. She is highly regarded among her colleagues and patients for her excellence. She has the reputation as the "fixer", repairing failed surgery by other surgeons. She is kind, compassionate and takes time with her patients. Explaining everything clearly and patiently answering questions. Her PA, Victoria Thompson, is also compassionate and very knowledgeable. If I could give zero stars I definitely would! I had 2 total hip replacements done by her and let me tell you my left one that she did completely shattered in my body it did so much damage that I had to not only replace the hip product to a bigger one but I had to have my femur replaced and a portion of my pelvis (that was my left side) my hips squeaked every move I made until I finally found a new dr who replaced everything and put appropriate products of the I am

I'm beyond pleased with Dr. Cook and her staff . She did a total hip replacement on me about a month ago, and In my opinion I don't think it could have gone any smoother than it did. I was explained my procedure and what to expect after my surgery very well by Dr. Cook and her P.A. Victoria. I definitely recommend them if your looking for a orthopedic surgeon and her staff.
