My goal as a Pediatrician is to ensure the well-being of kids and help them grow up healthy. I want parents to understand what is happening with their children so that they know why certain treatment options are recommended. Being a mother myself, I know that parents want to do the right thing for their children and may have questions and concerns about any number of things. An important part of my job is to help parents by listening, answering questions, and giving them peace of mind.

Dr. King is quite literally one of the best things to ever happen to Boise. She is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and patient. She knows what she’s talking about & only wants the best for her patients. She treated my son, husband and I with the utmost respect and answered all questions/addressed all concerns without making us feel rushed. I feel as though the “poor” reviews on this page are due to things out of the doctors control.
She is great to my child but when it comes to immunizations she's very pushy. My child is not in day care and I do not believe in the flu shot unless she were in an environment like that and she basically told me that my child would die if she got the flu and made me feel lesser than because of my decision. She continues to refer my child to an eye doctor for a lazy eye and I did take her to 3 appts then they told me she's fine but now Dr. King made another referral to another optometrist.
Business response:
Harrison, thank you for reaching out. I was sorry to hear that you felt pressured during our visit. I make every effort to listen and engage with my patients in the most constructive way possible. Although I do believe that the flu can be dangerous for young children, I also respect your decision to forego the flu vaccine. I appreciate your candid feedback, and hope the best for you and your child. -Dr. King
