My son has been a patient of Dr. Howson-Jones (Dr.Jen) since he was one and he is now eight. Dr. Jen has always been a gentle, caring, and calm dentist for my son. Each time we visit for a check-up, she thoroughly explains to my son and I what is going to happen during the visit. This has made my son comfortable with going to the dentist, at a very early age. We have loved the care that we have received from Dr. Howson-Jones and her team. My son has needed to have teeth pulled to make space for adult teeth that were not coming in correctly. They were able to make the procedure relaxed and calm for my son (and for me!). She also referred my daughter to the orthodontist, to receive early intervention on her smile (crooked and crowded teeth). Definitely get a second opinion before dropping thousands on dental work for your children. My oldest son apparently needed 2900 dollars in work done to which we complied not thinking anything more of it to which we should not have had to pay anything out of pocket due to have 2 benefits accounts being billed. But for some reason the bill the max to my insurance my husband's insurance and then also made us pay 1200 out of pocket. Dr. Howson is so amazing with kids. She really gets how to talk to them. Even when they are taller than everyone in the office. lol She had confidence in my son's ability to have a needle and she was right. I was so proud of him. He handled the cavity filling great with Dr. Howson. I'm late writing this review but we are heading back in for a couple more fillings this month so I wanted to share with families who have kids with anxiety that Dr. Howson is the best. We're lucky to have her in Langley.
My son who is going to be 7 next month has had to go here for surgery twice. About two years ago during Christmas break we had an emergency and Dr. Howson Jones was able to help out they were absolutely amazing back then. But about a year ago a dentist told me my son had a lump under his jaw and to take him into my family doctor who told me it wasn't anything to worry about and it was normal.
