Dr Ralph was amazing. He listened, was kind, I left feeling like I was heard and respected. I don’t know what other people are saying as far as reviews, my experience was one of the best I’ve had with a doctor. And I have 3 neurologists I’m seeing for my issues.

I was nervous about being paired with him for my neurology video visit based on the reviews, but I felt compelled to write a review post visit based on my experience. I have seen probably dozens of doctors at this point for a mystery condition that has been plaguing me for 5-7 years (I’ve literally lost count.) I have been a patient of Dr Ralph for over 10 years. I referred to him as my Specialist (because my local Neurologist) sent me to him. He has always been professional, kind knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
I’ve edited my review because sharing my honest experience only harmed me. It’s widely agreed that UCSF has tremendous capabilities and staff and that Dr Poncilet is a world expert and genuinely cares about the welfare and outcomes for patient. Unfortunately, speak as an experienced health care professional with a 2+ year experience of care directed by Dr Ralph, he repeatedly ignored the recommendations of his fellows, residents and attendants and refused to allow the work up they all ordered and personally repeated my EMGs ... read more
