Dr. Hannel always goes out of his way to make sure our family is taken care of and addresses all of our issues. He or his staff call and leave voicemails to give me updates on our prescriptions, tests, etc. We have been his patients for 15 years and always found him and his staff to be kind, caring and thoughtful. He is a special doctor that you don't find in the medical field much anymore and we are lucky to have him!
No matter what problem I have big or small Dr. Hannel always and I mean always goes out of his way to make sure that I am treated fully and completely. He even personally calls and leaves voicemails to give me updates on my appointment. If I don’t answer, he is extremely kind, thoughtful and always surprisingly funny. He is the definition of a healer and an angel. I will be forever grateful to him.
I tested positive for COVID and called Dr. Hannel’s office and left a message. No one returned my call, so I called a second time the same day. It’s now been 4 days and I still have not heard from his office. I have asked my Cardiologist for a referral for a new PCP.
Dr. Hannel always takes time to talk to me and help me understand the issues of my health. He is an excellent PCP. I can't say enough good things.

Dr. Hannel is a GREAT doctor, and will bend over backwards to accommodate your medical needs. He truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Hannel is a caring and compassionate doctor. I have never had a doctor who listens as well and explains things as well as he does. He makes sure you truly understands their health conditions and why he chose the treatment that did. He's comforting and informative. I would recommend Dr. Hannel to any of my family members or friends.
Dr. Hannel is a brilliant doctor who can diagnosis even rare conditions with a simple exam. He is the best doctor that I have ever been to, and has always kept my information confidential. He won't even confirm or deny if he is taking care of another patient in order to maintain confidentiality. I have never had scheduling problems with his office, and voted for him as Best Physician in Lubbock because he is so great! I trust him with my care completely.
Dr. Hannel is by far the best Physician in Lubbock. You will not find a better one!
