Unfortunately my son was taken in after having a fever ranging from 98 to 103 for 3 days. He was complaining of his ears hurting and all of a sudden wetting the bed, he also had a deep hoarse cough. He is 5 years old and was diagnosed with a runny nose and prescribed allergy medicine. I called immediately (my husband took him in) because I knew it was a misdiagnosis. I was told that if it persists in 3-5 days to bring him back in, well my poor son has been miserable. Very disappointing!
This office is very fast and professional. They fully support natural parenting and are always very nice to us. Dr. Van Gelderen is obviously well educated and cares about his patients.
The patient rooms are dark and cold with no windows, no coloring books, toys, or anything to occupy little kids. They made my toddler wait over 1 hour naked in the room then the nurse to give shots was very rushed and almost gave the vaccines subQ instead of IM. The office we came from had stickers and suckers. Nothing here. Nobody seemed to really interact with my children. Overall I was NOT impressed.
