Charlotte Gastro and Dr. Zaidman’s staff prioritize their insurance partners more than taking care of patients. I was referred for a colonoscopy which my insurance covers at 100%. I went into the office and PA Harris asked me, we why I was there. I told her and she said I needed a colonoscopy. Great! BUT because that conversation occurred they are billing the procedure as diagnostic which insurance doesn’t cover in full. I was very pleased. He explained everything thoroughly and put me at ease. We need more people like him in the medical field.
Zaidman was friendly and easy to talk with. However, he does not seem confident in providing care. Zaidman referred both me and a family member to another practitioner. We wanted a specialist who was close to home. We were sent to a hospital maze uptown that was stressful and time consuming. Now going through the whole process again and trying to find a competent specialist who is local.
