My husband and I had to take our newborn to have her tongue tie clipped. We were both nervous, but Dr. Weingarten was great. He explained that there is really no pain to the baby. He explained they cry more out of frustration to people putting their hands in their mouth. During the procedure she barely cried. She has cried harder over her diaper being changed. After, she immediately nursed and we were able to take her home.
Seemed preoccupied during my examination. I had a lymph node ultrasound he analyzed, but he was not forthcoming with his explanation. He told me it was not medically significant, but didn’t articulate why really. If my PCP thought it seemed significant, I need some explanation to bring back to them about why it isn’t. I can understand that it isn’t significant, but I always appreciate a doctor who will explain things thoroughly. Dr Weingarten is an outstanding DR. There is no arrogance with the dr..he will spend as much time needed. I highly recommend his services he stands out above the rest.
