The dr refused to send my medical records to another provider.
Before he left, my previous HVCC physician referred me to Dr Maresca to follow my care & I couldn’t be happier. Dr Maresca is caring, professional, knowledgeable, listens to all of my concerns & works quickly to find the cause & to resolve any/all problems that arise. I had a scare a few years ago. Horrible..rude..came to my hospital room with a resident did not introduce himself..took a phone call gaveme a business card and left
I was admitted to Mid Hudson Hospital after learning I had post covid blood clots. He was the doctor on staff who came to see me. Half the time he mumbled to himself and I had to ask repeatedly to repeat what he was talking about and It seemed like a big joke to him. He wanted to put me on a cholesterol med, but I told my cholesterol was fine. I found him incompetent and dismissive.
Excellent care for 3 years. He’s to the point. Will answer all your concerns.
Dr Ambinder is the worse doctor I’ve ever encountered. He’s hard to reach abs very difficult to schedule an appointment or to reach him when you have an emergency. His office staff and nurses are extremely rude. I will never return to Dr Ambinder again.
Dr Maresca has been my doctor since 2015 and has always carefully followed my rare, recurrent blood disorder. He has never made me feel like he doesn’t care 100 percent and has always been knowledgeable concerning all the latest treatments and possible solutions. I have specifically asked for him only because of the history of my treatments, but the other doctors and staff are also caring and brilliant.
If I could give no stars I would. My father was terminal inpatient when Dr. Maresca was covering for my dads primary oncologist for a couple of days. He was extremely arrogant, rude, dismissive and even walked out of the room before we were finished speaking about our concerns. It was shocking how someone who chose to be an oncologist showed how much he truly didn’t care to a patient who is dying and to the family members going through this awful disease. Would never recommend anyone going through cancer to be seen by him.
Waited 45 minutes to see doctor. Finally told them to cancel appointment and walked out. People at reception desk had absolutely had no personality. Time to look for another doctor ?????
