This Doctor is absolutely amazing. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he actually makes you feel cared about. He is witty and humorous. I am seeing him for a Worker's Compensation injury off of a referral from a coworker. And may I say I'm glad I went to him. Kaiser is terrible for Worker's Compensation claims. I will definitely be returning to Stevenson for any problems in my future. The wait time here can be a bit long, and almost always is, but it's worth the wait.
Every time I came here there was an hour and half wait or longer. I had been going to Dr Stephenson for four years, if he was to walk in the room without his assistant he wouldn't even know who I was. Going to him made my anxiety worse as well as my pain. My last encounter with doctor Stephenson I told him I did not want his main assistant working with me because she has a record of losing very important approvals as well as lapsing on new approvals that were also time sensitive. From the moment I met him, I liked him. He is very smart, knowledgeable and genuinely cares. He is attentive, and in first few meetings really spent a good amount of time, catching things beyond what I came in for, things most GP’ would not even pay attention to and these made a tremendous difference over. When I go to a doctor, I want first and foremost to be listened to and not given the quick once over. Dr. Stevenson provides me with this attention and is never in a rush to see the next patient. When I had a serious staph infection, the doctor called me on his time (it was 8:00 in the evening) to see how I was doing because he actually cares.
