The worst experience I have ever had with any care provider in my entire life. Dr Elston is condescending, pompous, degrading, and insulting. And the scariest part about this is that he teaches future physicians. I certainly hope that they do not take from him a narrow minded way of how to care for their future patients.
I’ve never had a worst experience in a Dr office…or met a Dr as pretentious in my life. I’ve had a rare auto immune disease for 20 years and he almost seemed annoyed that I was educated about my disease and my treatments. I left the visit and immediately called my pcp to get a referral to a different Dr. I would rather fly back to Vanderbilt for treatments. I wish I had read his reviews before going. It was unreal

UPDATE: After another physician looked into the scans Elston ordered, it seems he forgot to mention to me the fact that my hip has tears, bursitis, and has defects that have been contributing to my hip and back pain. But the only thing I heard was his dismissal because I "look" fine. I had cancer, I am familiar with a variety of doctors. However, Mr. Elston does NOT deserve the title of Doctor. He was condescending and interrupted me after asking me questions. After finding out I have an auto immune condition effecting my ha... read more
