Only actually saw Dr. Harris twice. called to set up an appointment because I thought I was having contractions. They hooked me up to the monitor on Thursday. Dr. Harris told me I was fine, that I was not having contractions and that "pregnancy was just painful some times". Went to the ER the next morning, I was already dilated to a 4 1/2, they rushed me to Savannah, my baby was born on Sunday, almost two months early. So, no, I would NEVER recommend Dr. Harris to ANYONE. I wouldn't even take my dog to see him!!!
Dr. Harris and his staff are caring, professional and have always treated me with the utmost respect and compassion! I had debilitating fibroids that kept me in bed for most of the month. Dr. Harris was the one that finally diagnosed me and after my surgery I am pain free and have a new lease on life. He went over various options and their outcomes and let me decide which procedure was best for me. He came in the delivery room in golf clothes and was going to let a nurse I never met before deliver my baby. He let me lay there 3 days in labor with preeclampsia and very high blood pressure that was dangerous to me and my baby. I would not let this doctor touch my dog.
