Dr. Budoff told my 15 yr old that his mri was probably wrong and that there was no need to operate. even worse he told my son he could die on the table or contract MRSA during surgery. So rude and weird and totally scared my son, who ultimately had successful surgery with an excellent doctor.
Dr. Budoff is a good doctor. Takes good care of patients. It is my personal experience.
Dr. Budoff has been the doctor seeing to my upper extremity issues for nearly 20 years. He's an excellent diagnostician, very compassionate, and explains things in a way that everyone can understand. He is a superior surgeon, as well. As a physician/surgeon myself, I'm very picky about the doctors who see to my care, especially my hands. When I had bilateral ulnar neuropathies, he was the one, and not a “so-called high-powered expert”, who said I needed an EMG and then, after reviewing the, EMG said I needed surgery. Dr. Budoff was less than helpful with my medical issue. First, there's no privacy. When I was with other patients, I could hear everything. Secondly, he asked why I was there (never looked over any of the pw I completed). Then he attempted to invalidate everything that I was telling him about my condition. He speaks over you. Despite my finger pain due to a few conditions, he squeezed the finger, said he thinks it's an in-grown nail (possibly correct), and then proceeded to tell me he had nothing in the office to clip the na... read more
Dr. Budoff is totally washed. If you want to have surgery I’m sure he’s extremely nice. That was not my experience however. I visited him seeking more information about carpal tunnel. I’ve found YouTube videos more helpful than he was. Maybe at one point he decided to peruse medicine bc he had a desire to help ppl. It’s unfortunate that somewhere along the way he realized it was more profitable to keep ppl sick than empowering them with information about their bodies and inflammatory responses.
Great doctor. Straight to the point. Once you're a patient he responds quickly.
Extremely quick, very professional. Answered all questions and gave recommendations on therapy and healing. Great experience.
I was referred to Dr. Budoff in 2006 and have had to use him many times, mostly from complications from my diabetes. I believe he has now performed 17 surgeries on hands, wrists and arms. I wouldn't use or trust any other hand and arm surgeon. He cares about his patients and is the top in his field.
Dr. Budoff reconstructed my collarbone with a plate and eight screws after a bike accident caused the bone to break into 4 pieces. I am grateful for his work and I would recommend him.
