I was referred to Dr. Smith for my first colonoscopy, and was very pleased. On the initial visit he was pleasant and took the time to ask questions and answer any questions I had, explaining the process that would take place. Lone Star Endoscopy where the procedure was performed was excellent. Staff was friendly, personable, and answered any questions making sure patients were at ease and taken care of. Afterwards, Dr. Smith explained what he did, results, and took time to answer questions

The office makes it like your time is not valuable. Arriving on time to an appointment means they cancel because you were not 30 min early. Then the Dr. will make you wait for 20 min. I went to Dr. Smith first but have since been bounced to my dentist, two ENTs and finally back to a GI. My last doctor said I've wasted a year trying to figure out something that is definitely GI related. He even said your first GI (Dr. Smith) knows "nothing about basic plumbing in the body if he sent you away

Dr. Smith took time to listen to my unusual problem and to brainstorm possible solutions allowing me to make a more informed decision about our course of treatment. I was very happy with his expertise and his manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith.

On my first visit Dr. Smith told me that my symptoms did not sound like gurd. Boy was he right. It turned out to be heart blockage that needed immediate attention. Had been told for over two years that it was gurd. Three arteries on my heart were 85, 90 and 95%closed. I am so grateful to Dr. Smith for suggesting that I see my cardiologist.
