I have to agree with the negative reviews. I saw Dr. Buyten in November and felt he completely dismissed me and my concerns. I don't know if it is because I am 80 years old and he thought I was senile or if he is always that way. I cancelled a followup appointment.
Dr. Buyten was is always so friendly and takes the time to answer all my questions. It’s so obvious how much he cares for his patients. I also want to recognize Jordan. When you checkout he is so friendly and helpful. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. Highly recommend this office!
100% agree with all negative reviews. My 83 year old dad told me he felt like the Dr “talked down” to him and was very dismissive the first time he met with him. I then met this Dr when my dad had a procedure with him and he was exactly the same way with me! Very sarcastic very rude and extremely dismissive!!!! I would NOT recommend him for anyone of any age. He definitely needs a course on communication, compassion, empathy and kindness!!
If I could give less than one star, I would. He has horrible bedside manner. He’s condescending when speaking to you. He’s extremely rude and shows zero sympathy for the patient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I have never met someone so rude.
Dr. Buyten is top notch and explained everything to me and the process I would go through for the Inspire Sleep Device. He listens when you are talking to him and gives his direct attention. I can't be more pleased with my care I received from him. I highly recommend Dr. Buyten.
