I am incredibly impressed with the results of my recent surgery with Dr. Hetman. Just before Thanksgiving, he surgically repaired a mallet toe on each of my feet. Having had foot surgery in the past, I was prepared for a grueling recovery—my previous experience took months before I could even bear weight. Knowledgeable doctor. Took the necessary steps to get me right and feeling better.
I explained to Dr Hetman that I realized some of my foot pain is due to my fibromyalgia. He obviously doesn’t know what this very painful neuromuscular disorder is, but made fun of my having it before I left. He needs to educate himself. I was both hurt and insulted. I’m going to find a smarter podiatrist.
I had an appointment about 6 months ago, and I do not have insurance. So I paid for my appointment and x-rays after my examination IN FULL. Now months later I am receiving emails, texts and phone calls saying i owe them $20. I ended up calling the office and told them that I am not paying anymore money because of their mistakes.
