Truly love this doctor! I’ve been seeing Dr. Jeanette Jakus at Madfes Aesthetic Medical (corner of East 69th and Fifth Avenue) for several years and she is exceptional. Dr. Jakus is highly skilled in cosmetic dermatology including laser treatments, injectables, and peels. She’s also an artist and because of this has a great eye for symmetry and balance (and you can tell she gets into the zone and completely loves what she does). I had been searching for years for a dermatologist or dermatology group to refer my patients to so that I could feel comfortable as I cut back my clinical practice. So I booked an appointment with Dr. Jakus for treatment of sun-damaged skin on my chest. We also performed a Sebacia treatment together in a patient with acne. My conclusion?: Dr. Jakus is a member of that very rare breed of physicians who combine intellectual brilliance and curiosity, conscientiousness, and true caring about people with humility. My office visit experience was great. The office staff were courteous and the accommodation exceptional. I didn't have to wait long for my visit with Dr. Jakus as I have often experienced elsewhere with other doctors. Dr. Jakus was very knowledgeable about my condition, she was courteous, pleasant and demonstrated excellent bedside manners throughout my visit. I would not hesitate to see her again or recommend her to my family and friends.
Literally thee worst experience of dealing with a personal practice. First she has several locations throughout Brooklyn and her staff doesn't tell you which office your appt is scheduled at. I scheduled an appt two months in advance at 450 clarkson, I arrive thirty mins prior to the location to find out that the appt was made for 185 Montague street. I get to Montague street the receptionist doesn't have the appt on the calendar for whatever reason and to top it off they also don't have the referral form sent from my sons p... read more
