Dr. Barrueta is an excellent ER doctor. She expeditiously ordered testings and clearly explained results and answered all my questions. She is very knowledgeable in her field and showed genuine concern for my father.
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Very poor social skills. Walked in, mumbled her name, asked how I was, and then kept talking without waiting for a response. Became unreasonably defensive when informed that I had been in contact with my regular provider and said something to the effect of, "I don't take phone orders from physician's assistants. I'm a physician." I wasn't even telling her any instruction from the PA aside that he and the surgeon wanted to follow up with me. Worst doctor I've ever seen.
Worst doctor I have ever seen. She took a phone call in the middle of taking my medical history and walked out of the room without even excusing herself. Dismissive, arrogant and insensitive. Terrible attitude coupled with awful bedside manner. Should not be an ER physician. Ask for another doctor if you arrive and she is your treating physician.
