I love Dr. Kumar! Having my first major seizure at 35 was confusing and frightening. She has helped me feel at ease with the treatment and taking control over my epilepsy. Managing my medications and med changes has been easier because of her demeanor and knowledge. I feel in control of my seizures instead of them controlling my life. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and has great patient rapport and great patience for all my questions!!
Dr. Kumar is always very thorough with my visits and makes sure that I am taking my medication the proper way and that I am using the techniques she has offered to help me. I have been suffering from migraine headaches for a long time, after just one visit with Dr. Kumar, I found her to be very knowledgeable and caring. She treated me, and I am just about head ache free after only a month. Think she is awesome.
Dr. Kumar is amazing! I have chronic illnesses and I originally saw her for my migraines. I have a rare form of migraines called Hemiplegic. She not only accurately diagnosed this but she also prescribed a special compound cream for my RSD. (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy). She is a great Neurologist and she went above and beyond her duties as a Doctor. She helped admit me to the hospital when I couldn’t walk due to severe vertigo from the migraine attack. She is one of my favorite Doctors!
I recently had a very poor experience with Dr. Kumar leading me to feel that she had neglected a patient's care. Dr. Kumar gave my wife a diagnosis of myesthenia gravis -- a serious autoimmune disease -- this past June. Under Dr. Kumar's care, my wife's condition rapidly regressed into a myesthenial crisis. Although my wife was prescribed a drug for treating this disease, Dr. Kumar kept increasing the dosage without visually evaluating the symptoms or monitoring my wife's new and worsening con
