Dr. Hunter had a terrible bedside manner, but he got the diagnosis correct. He spent about 5 minutes with me in the 9 hours that I was there (despite having told me that it was the slowest day he had had in 2 years), and never explained my lab results or scans to me. I had to go back the next day after I had been discharged and hunt down the charge nurse to learn about my results. Dr. Hunter made me feel like an idiot because my career is not in medicine (I'm a chemist).
