Like every other psychiatrist I’ve had he doesn’t listen to anything I have to say. I’m always wrong about the side effects of the medications even though I’m the one experiencing them.
I found Dr. Zafar to be a wonderful physician. It was the first time I have ever been offered genetic testing to know which medications would work best for me without just giving each one a random shot. (As well as knowing which ones I can try with my other medications) He was attentive, asked questions regarding my responses to his PA, and genuinely wanted to get the whole picture as to what landed me in his chair. Dr. Zafar is fantastic doctor! I can't recommend him enough. He's personable, non-judgmental, and really cares about the welfare of his patients. I'm surprised to see negative comments about his staff. I've always found them to be courteous and respectful. I think the binary nature of his reviews has more to do with his patient population than an object analysis of his practice.
Dr. Zafar is an amazing doctor! He has helped me so much. Anyone who does not like him is probably trying to direct their own medical decisions for the doctor instead of letting him call the shots. I will never forget how much he has helped me in my mental health journey. Dr. Zafar truly cares about his patients, and it is evident in his level of concern at each visit. The office staff has always been professional to me.
