I had my first visit with Dr. Cotter; I was positively impressed with the depth of his knowledge when assessing my situation, explaining the potential solutions and recommending the one he deemed the most appropriate and doing so in layman terms. After subsequent interaction, I will gladly update the site with my PERSONAL experiences. His staff is BY FAR more welcoming, friendly and treating you as THE MOST IMPORTANT PATIENT they've ever had. THANK YOU LADIES.
Upon visiting Dr. Cotter very skeptical about what he was telling me. Until I learned that he was very upfront about the diagnosis. Never being in this situation before I didn't know how to take him. But the end results have been remarkable. Very little scarring. I would recommend him to family and friends. He's a general specialist in that he handles not only the gallbladder but does endoscopy. And various other procedures.
I was highly disappointed in his attitude. Don't roll your eyes at a patient, sling your hand away with an obnoxious gesture, tell them they are wrong with the medical information they've given you about their body and most of all you should never treat them like they are the biggest anoucence to you! He made me feel like I was an idiot! Rudest doctor I've ever had and NO help!! I also had a flare up 4 days later and decided to live with the pain instead of getting help. Thanks for nothing.....
