I had this doctors for my first two children from birth until 12 and 13 years old and my third child until he was two. The only reason we are no longer with him is because he moved to another county. He was my favorite doctor for my kids. Anytime I was concerned about something we would discuss it. He would never push me to anything I disagreed with and was informative on anything I asked about. We love Witham but do not recommend this doctor. After giving birth, we were sent home and that night our child had issues with breathing and this doctor stated “well if she’s not turning blue then I’m not concerned.” As a postpartum mom fresh out of the hospital and having issues as soon as we came home this doctor was not reassuring at all. Acted like we were bothering him when we called. I made sure to tell the front office I refuse to see this doctor ever!
Witham is such a wonderful hospital to work with. But Cates might be the rudest physician I have ever dealt with. No clue what this guy is doing in the pediatric field.
