I was billed $437 for a new patient visit, including $221 for the office visit and $216 for a behavioral voice analysis. The behavioral voice analysis did not involve any specialized equipment or formal testing and took place while I was describing my symptoms. My understanding is that a new patient visit generally includes time for the patient to explain symptoms and for the physician to listen and assess them. Dr. Tompkins was very helpful and very comforting in my visit. I was worried and he took the time to explain everything to me and my husband. Once he review all my test and got all the information he personally called me and went over everything with me. That hasn't happen with any other doctor I have been to in many years. I highly recommend him.
Hands down!!! Fantastic!!! He takes the time to explain everything and was fantastic with my very scared daughter! I highly recommend him!!!!
I was very impressed by Dr. Tompkins years ago because of his approach to my problem. He was also available for emergency. In November I needed immediate help, but the earliest appointment I was able to get was 3 month away. When I had my appointment I feel he really did not address my problem and ask me to come back in 3 month. The appointment was coupled with an audiologist appointment who is in the same office. Dr Tompkins was a breath of fresh air. By far the most attentive, positive and thorough doctor I’ve seen since moving to Frederick seven years ago! He completed several tests and a scope and found the problem very quickly. He prescribed a remedy and had me scheduled for a follow up in ten days to make sure it is working. I would give him 10 stars!!
