Do not go to him. Originally I thought he was a good Dr. He did a shoulder surgery for me. I asked him about physical therapy and he continuously said that I was ahead of schedule, that I didn't need PT. I now go to a new Dr and was told that my ongoing pain in the same shoulder is because he didn't send me to PT 2-4 weeks after the surgery, now I am dealing with major inflammation in the bicep tendon that he reattached and in the labrum that he repaired, plus inflammation in the rotator cuff. I can't say enough nice things about Dr Toman and his staff. I am a relatively young person with severe arthritis in my hips and I have been living with a lot of pain for a very long time. I have been unable to walk normally for years, which has also been causing lower back pain and sciatica.
