We felt as though Dr. Barrientos’ knowledge and expertise was completely overshadowed by an uncoordinated, unprofessional, uncaring team — and most importantly, a team unprepared to manage my mother's condition, CLL, that is supposedly easily treatable. During a time of distress, anxiety, and overwhelming difficulty, we felt ignored, unsupported, and certainly not given the importance that such a situation required.
