I have known Dr. Shrum for the 18 years that he has been in practice. He has always shown kindness, care and good judgement as a professional. I have grown to trust his experience in caring for my family's eyes. Thank you Dr. Shrum.
Fantastic Eye Exam, the best I've ever had and EVERYONE on staff was excellent. The negative reviews are unfounded.
Staff appeared to be judgmental and dismissive. Dr. Jane would do well to scrutinize attitudes in her office.

Dr. Leidlein is perhaps the best and most helpful doctor I have ever been to; she saved my sight on more than one occasion. When you are her patient she goes to do the extreme to help you and I talked to many others in the waiting room who felt exactly the same way I do. Even when she was out for a while some years back she may sure that I was able to get right in to see a doctor in Houston who specialize in the treatment I needed. Also, I never ever receive any better staff than her office.
Horrible staff who pick and choose depending on whether one has a golden insurance plan. Money over care

Mr. Smith, I am so sorry you had a bad experience at our office. Unfortunately we do not accept all insurance plans. The staff has been trained to ask about your insurance prior to appointments being made so that we can make sure we are in network with them. Otherwise you will end up with a rather large bill, we want to inform you ahead of the visit not after. We strive to treat all of our patients with dignity and respect. 5 stars are simply not enough to describe Dr. Shrum and his dedicated staff. I am always seen on-time and the process is just seamless. Dr. Shrum always takes time to talk with me and address my concerns and I never feel rushed or like ?just another patient?. There is no question that Dr. Shrum and his staff are top notch medical providers, but they are also at the top of their game in customer service. With a rare combination like this, my family will be back again and again!
