I’ve only had the initial consultation thus far but I was impressed with Dr. Heckler’s personality and bedside manner. He seems exceptionally knowledgeable and he explained the issue and options in a manner that was easy to understand.
Dr. Heckler is down to earth and explained my hip replacement in clear terms. He is a true professional.
The entire visit was pleasant and efficient. Dr Heckler was professional, caring and reassuring. I would highly recommend.
I cannot be more pleased with my full knee replacement performed by Dr. Heckler. After only 6-weeks, my range of motion is 0-140. He prepared me well for what to expect post-surgery and gave me the confidence to get back on my feet, literally. At my follow-up, he thanked ME for trusting him to complete my surgery. I wholeheartedly recommend him, his PA Nicole, MA Molly and everyone at Orthopedic Associates of SWO including the front desk and check out personnel who always have the most patience with all the patients.

HE SENT ME HOW WITH A ROTO CUFF TEAR, A BICEP TEAR,AND ARTHRITIS IN THE BONE,AND SAID THAT HE COULD DO NOTHING FOR ME,AND TO NOT GO BACK TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM BECAUSE THEY DONT WANNA SEE ME,THE EMERGENCY ROOM IS FOR PEOPLE WITH EMERGENCIES LIKE HEART ATTACKS AND STROKES,WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
