This doctor left the practice without reporting biopsy results to a patient. Who does that? Shame on him. His new practice indicated they can't assist. No one should feel comfortable trusting this man with their care.
We had to see Dr. Amontree for a procedure my wife needed. He was referred to us from another GI Dr. in our area. Dr Amontree took his time with us, explaining what needed to be done. We didnt feel rushed by him as some reviews stated. Dr Amontree has been practicing for I believe 30+ years. He is very knowledgeable and obviously knows what needs to and how its to be done. I would recommend this Dr if you ever need some type of GI surgery. My wife needed an ERCP procedure and we are so glad we had Dr Amontree to perform it. ... read more
I’ve been a patient for several years and can not believe the bad reviews. Dr Amontree is very personable, always takes his time talking to and explaining things to me. His diagnosis was correct and his staff has always treated me well, highly recommend.
Horrible horrible Dr and nursing staff. Bad bedside manner- in fact no bedside manner. Refuses to work with intellectually disabled community. I see they made another page where they're probably incentivizing reviewers. They treat you like a number. The nursing staff in the back was irritated that they had a ton of cancellations and no shows that morning. GOOD. Stay away from this place!
Don’t want to do anything with an 86 Year old man who has a history of stones in the biliary duct..Did not ask about any symptoms did not asked about the color of my poop.Did not offer to do anything about any Test.I got the feeling he didn’t want to do anything.meeting with him lasted all of 10 minutes.worst I have ever been treated by a doctor.NOT GOING BACK
