Dr. Hooten is the kindest doctor I have ever seen. I had a complete hip replacement last year. He takes as much time as you want to ask questions or concerns. It seems like the person he is with is the only patient that he has. He explains everything that could possibly come up and demonstrates what he can such as exercises. He is just a wonderful man and I highly recommend him. Just be prepared to wait for a while to see him when you have an appointment.
Dr Hooten is the absolute best! I had a total hip replacement at ARMC. Dr Hooten was my surgeon. I'm pain free only 4 days after surgery and have far exceeded my physical therapy goals. My therapist said it was possible I would only need 2 weeks of therapy instead of 6. I was walking with a walker and easily climbing stairs on my second day of physical therapy. Dr Hooten did such a wonderful job and is so caring. He takes time explaining the procedure so you understand and answers all questions.
