I am a doctor in Albuquerque. I choose to have Dr. Icken as my dermatologist. Don't listen to the whiners. Most other dermatology offices are beauty parlors. This guy is a DOCTOR.
Dr. Pillen is fantastic. After trying out many dermatologists, Dr. Pillen was the only one that successfully treated me. All that being said, if it were not for Dr. Pillen's excellent care and guidance I would be looking for a new dermatologist due to the LACK of friendly/ professional customer service by the front desk and receptionists. Every time I call to schedule an appointment or have a general question, the receptionists are rude and not helpful. They really ruin the great experience the doctors provide.

I've Been seeing Dr. Icken for many years. He correctly diagnosed two different skin cancers for me and has been performing annual check ups for several years now. I trust my health and my wife's health to Dr. Icken.
He removed my mole that other dermatologists did not want to remove. It has not grown back. Also, the light treatments help me with my psoriasis.
