I left a review on their site and it was removed immediately. Judge its value for yourself: No one in this office wears a mask including Dr. Childs. Although this is acceptable in the Sate of Texas and to the Texas Medical Board, some people in the BCS area may find this objectionable. I waited 3 months for an appointment and was never told that this a mask free practice. The appointment was routine but I'm giving one star due to the mask issue and because Dr. Childs seemed uninterested and distracted during the appointment.
No one in this office wears a mask including Dr. CHILDS. I went in with what I thought might be skin cancer on my face. He was about 8 inches away from my face (without a mask) and could feel his breath as he was talking. Based on the questions he asked me about covid this office is clearly anti mask and anti vax. There is also no covid notice posted. This practice will most likely attract new patients given that Brazos county is less than 50% vaccinated.
Dr. Childs is great, but his front office is terrible. When I checked out the front desk had no idea what to charge me and I was over charged. I had to call back several times for my results. The front staff and the medical assistant have no idea what they are doing.
