I have been a patient of Dr. Mailhot for over 3 years. He has been very thorough and knowledgeable. He has adjusted my heart medications very effectively.
Very sweet doctor but wish they understood the adverse reactions from the c jab. I felt dismissed a bit. The only thing they recommend is to download an app to monitor your heart rate and exercise. They cleared me to live a normal life but I still encountered severe chest pain and shortness of breath. I switched insurance carriers and hope for the best with my new doctor.
I'm disappointed UCSF, I typically support you 100%. Now I get a cardiologist who can not answer my questions and can only recommend diet and exercise after over a 3 month wait and via video. James Mailhot has significantly subpar communication skills let alone skills to be a cardiologist. He did not listen to the concerns about medication side effects, merely recommending taking them at a different hour and following up in a month, nor any concern with the structure of my heart despite all the testing done which he did not ... read more
