I have been a patient of this dentist for over 10 years. He and his staff are very professional; the doctor is detail oriented and the most technically competent dentist that I have encountered to date. The office and dentristry equipment appears to all be in excellent condition; he has many state of the art devices including digital x-ray imaging and processing. My worst dental experience! I was not having any problems or pain prior. Dr Janda told me I should have a crown and two fillings replaced. Never explained risks. Severe pain occurred immediately after the one filling. Apparently the filling was too deep which resulted in a root canal and crown. I suspect the second filling might eventually need root canal too since I have pain at that tooth that comes and goes.
Do you trust this dentist to only recommend dental procedures you need? Not at all. Every time I go in they recommend an expensive procedure I don't need Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? No, I left with more problems than I came with! Does this dentist use current and safe equipment? Not at all; the equipment is dangerous!
Max Janda is what every dentist should be, but unfortunately is not. He is a caring, professional person who gets the job done right. He restored my bite and confidence in my appearance; I would not think of going to anyone else for dental care. His staff is great and reflect the caring atmosphere throughout the practice.
I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I trust them to only recommend dental procedures I actually need. Dr.Janda gives you recommendations which are primarily in your best interest. He does an outstanding job when it comes to esthetics and quality of the job. If the durability of his work matches the quality of the job (I cannot judge yet because the work he did for me is about a year ago), I say he is an excellent choice.
