I learned today that I have a Haglunds bone spur - - thankfully it is mild. Dr. Kent walked me through the x-ray images and the different treatment options. I was happy to learn that his approach is caring and quite practical. He is not fast to prescribe surgeries and expects his patients to cooperate in the recommended therapeutic exercises, etc. I am thrilled to have found him and will encourage my physician husband to recommend him to his patients as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Kent and his staff. He listened and was very reassuring. He also used it as a teachable moment for me and his office staff. He treated me like a person and not a number, which I don't get at other offices.
Dr.Kent was so receptive, knowledgeable and caring the first time I met him. No one could expect more.So happy I was referred to him.
I contacted the office on August 12, 2024, to schedule an appointment due to pain and swelling in my feet, toes, and ankles. I was given an appointment for the following day, August 13, 2024, at 2:15 PM. Upon arrival, I requested a wheelchair due to my mobility issues. While waiting, I observed that other patients, including a Caucasian man on a walker and a Caucasian woman in a wheelchair, were greeted warmly and attended to.
